Nicolas Labrie is a professional artist living in Massachusetts with his wife, two cats, and their dog.

Nicolas started drawing at 15 when his Tío Ricardo Urquizu visited from Guatemala. Ricardo Urquizú was a talented artist. He encouraged and taught Nicolas to draw. As a result Nicolas was a passionate artist through high school and developed a love of drawing portraits. This came to an abrupt stop with the unexpected death of his Tío Ricardo. Nicolas was devastated and stopped drawing for nearly 10 years. A Bargue drawing course restored his passion. Now, he cherishes the gift his Tío gave him and enjoys sharing it with others.
